Their beautifully elegant Abbey Church is regarded as “Georgia’s Most Remarkable Concrete Building” for several reasons, including a soaring tower where three bells toll daily. Built in the 1940s of poured concrete by the monks themselves, this remarkably restrained architectural marvel attracts visitors from the world over.

EMORY UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Emory University Hospital in Atlanta chose NBC to assist in construction of an addition to their Patient Tower and creation of a dynamic new two-story curved pedestrian bridge. The big challenge with this project was keeping the existing roof protected while full-scale construction was ensuing all around. With careful planning and execution, we were able to mitigate the damage that occurred to the existing roofs and minimize any inconvenience to the hospital operations.
