Our mission is ‘No Accidents’ which we pursue through a progressive Safety Training Program designed to increase the ongoing safety competency of everyone on our team. With an excellent safety record over the years our program covers every aspect of our business, including drug testing protocols.

That’s a reflection of how important safety is to NBC. We are committed to maintain and extend this record for the benefit of our employees and the customers we serve. Being safety conscious is a core aspect of the NBC culture; we have mandatory safety meetings every week. On a daily basis, the subject is kept top of mind to ensure a safe workplace. We provide continuing safety education to all employees, covering the latest procedures and industry trends. We utilize a safety engineering approach that includes site specific safety plans, risk analysis reports, quality control standards, drug awareness training, and unscheduled site inspections.

One indication of a safe workplace is the Experience Modification Rate (EMR) score. This measurement is used by insurance companies to gauge the past cost of injuries and future chances of risk. We are proud to report our EMR has been .72 for the past two years. That means we pay 72% of what all contractors pay for worker compensation insurance, because our safety record is that much better.
